It don’t matter any time someone is showing signs of confusion it’s a sign of a concussion he needs an mri my so had a bad accident about a year and a half ago he was intensive care for 10 days because of concussion he cracked his scull on the right side pocked a hole in the lining that keeps the brain fluid in so he still has a cf fluid leak that he needs a surgery for. And that boy being tired wanting sleep is a sign of concussion also

Wild. Hopefully you never get in this situation again, but if you do and someone is snoring, you actually don’t want to tilt their head up like that. To open their airway you’d actually want to tilt the head back and do what’s called the head tilt chin lift. However, in situations of major trauma such as this where there may be a spinal injury, to open someone’s airway you’d want to do a jaw thrust maneuver which you’d have to look up how to do but it’s simple. That and obviously we want to avoid moving them at all unlike the scared friend was doing. Good on you for helpin out.
